Carman Area Foundation Grant
On April 12, 2024, the Carman Area Foundation celebrated 25 years of granting! The evening featured how the Carman Area Foundation has grown and impacted many non-profit organizations. Guests enjoyed a fabulous buffet catered by New Style Catering, entertainment by Water & Wood.
This year the foundation granted $150,000 to 45 charities. Katie Cares was one of the of the recipients who received a grant for $1,200.00 from the Roland Community Fund. The money will be used to purchase new sheets, and towels for our guests at Katie’s Cottage. Presenting the cheque to Ruth Reimer is Colleen Hodgeson director representing Roland and chair of the gala.
A heartfelt thanks to the Carman Area Foundation directors and Caddie Crampton for your support in our project. For your trust in granting this money to Katie Cares. We wish the Carman Area Foundation great success as they move forward and continue to grow and make a difference to the Carman and area!
