Comforting Blankets
Early September 2021 we had a special visitor stop in at Katie’s Cottage. Judi Adams popped in at the cottage to drop off special blankets. These blankets were crocheted by Judi herself and donated to Katie’s Cottage. This past year Judi needed to keep her hands and mind busy, so she decided to crochet blankets a great hobby for this talented lady.
She purchased new wool and started to create these warm, comforting blankets. Judi’s own experience with cancer made her realize how important a blanket can be. The blankets are made with a great deal of love. Each blanket is finished off with the word hugs written into the blanket. Judi is a firm believer in hugging when you say hello and goodbye.
Thank you, Judi, for your generous donation. The blankets will be given to guests who have a loved one in hospital, which needing a special blanket to bring comfort.
See it…Believe it…Achieve it…
