You may ask “Where is Natures Nook”? Well, Natures Nook is located directly across the road from the Boundary Trails Hospital. Several years ago, while getting ready to put a sidewalk in that would provide a safe path for guests, patients, and staff to use between the hospital and cottage. We came across a small clearing in the row of trees. Along with the clearing was a beautiful tree. The trunk was large, and we decided not to cut down this tree but have the sidewalk go around the tree and clean up the clearing. The large tree provides shade all day long. Katie’s Cottage takes care of Natures Nook. We put down mulch, added a picnic table, and trash receptacles. This spot is a perfect spot for anyone to enjoy a coffee or a picnic lunch. We continue to keep this spot neat and tidy, free of weeds. Providing another soothing spot to enjoy the outdoors while loved ones are in the hospital.
