Recently the question has come up. What was Kaitlyn like?

Well this is a loaded question. Kaitlyn was full of life and energy. She loved nothing more than to invite her friends over for a wiener roast and enjoy playing and visiting with friends. She loved photography, cooking, playing with her dog Oreo. She loved to watch tv, read, write, and draw, watch movies. Her favorite book was Harry Potter, favorite color purple. Kaitlyn had a wonderful sense of humor. Her laughter could be heard throughout our home and it was infectious. She was the pesky little sister but loved nothing more than to cheer on her big brother. She loved playing games, swimming, listening to music. She loved chocolate chip cookies and enjoyed toast at her grandma and grandpa Reimer’s home. She loved playing soccer, badminton, and volleyball.

Kaitlyn had a heart of gold. She saw and felt the need to help others. She wanted to give back whenever she could to cheer someone up, provide hope, show love and care. Her dream was to give back and her charity has done exactly that, give back to children who are sick. Provide a home away from home to those who need to be close to the hospital.
