You might ask yourself what does an IPad, Quilt and Teddy Bear have to do with Katie Cares? The answer is these 3 items are how the charity started. They are the foundation and are significant to the charity. These 3 gifts Kaitlyn (founder of Katie Cares) received they made a difference for her and greatly impacted her.

Kaitlyn Reimer saw and felt a great need to give to children, who where hospitalized, sick and to share some love. She wanted to make a difference, support children with these items. The IPad can be taken to doctor’s appointments, to the hospital, or used at home. To distract and pass time while waiting or just to have some fun. The quilt provides a virtual hug, warmth, reminding a child that someone cares. The Teddy Bear is a friendly friend that a child can snuggle with and find security.

Katie Cares is proud to continue this program that Kaitlyn herself started. It is a privilege an honour and a humbling experience each time we give this package. The gift that keeps on giving to the child who is experiencing health challenges. Your donations help to carry on this important program.
