On August 22, 2019 Avaya celebrated her 5th birthday.  She invited her friends, but she did something special.  She asked that her friends not bring presents for her.  She asked her guests to bring a Beanie Baby, which was going to be donated to Katie Cares.  Avaya and her brother Nixon had 19 Beanie Babies that were donated on October 19, 2019.  By giving these Beanie Babies they will help to lessen the stress for a child who is receiving care.  The gift of a small furry friend to help a child through a traumatic time.  Thank you Avaya for your special gift, and your loving heart.  These Beanie Babies are sure to wipe away tears, and bring a smile to a child’s face.
