Several months ago Debbie Doell contacted Ruth Reimer with an idea to make and donate cloth pencil cases. They decided that the cloth pencil cases will be used in the Katie Cares bags.  The cloth bags will store crayons, markers, or pencil crayons. These bright and colourful bags were sewn by a group of 12 ladies, of which Debbie Doell is the coordinator. Of the approximately 400 bags that the group of 12 women sewed, 70 of them were donated to Katie Cares, the others were donated to several different organizations. Regardless of where they ended up, each bag was sewn with a lot of love! Thank to everyone who sewed these special bags! Katie Cares appreciates your donation!!
