The Hiebert family has stayed at Katie’s Cottage numerous times. The Hiebert family was again at the cottage for a stay while a loved one was in hospital. They brought with them 10 flannel blankets which they donated.

The blankets were sewn to help keep a loved one busy. The Hiebert’s donated 10 blankets. Missing from the picture is the Hiebert’s daughter in law,
who was instrumental in coming up with this idea of sewing blankets. These special blankets will be given to guests who have welcomed a new baby into their family.

Guests have experienced the wonderful feeling, atmosphere and genuine love and care. Many times after their experience the question comes up- ” How can I help to make a difference”?
