On Wednesday, February 6, 2019 Ruth visited the Prairie Dale School to accept a donation. The grade 4 students had had a bake sale in support of Katie Cares.

The visit to the class included sharing with the class about the charity, and answering any questions that the students brought forth. Visiting with the class was exciting because they had great questions and wonderful insight, and to see their excitement about the bake sale.  It was wonderful to see and hear how they planned for their fundraising event. The bake sale raised $236.91, all in support of Katie Cares!  The money raised will be used to purchase Teddy Bears, and Beanie Babies.  Thank you to the students and their teacher for all of their hard work.  Also thank you to parents, staff, and everyone who supported this fundraiser, it is much appreciated!!
