On Tuesday June 25, Jaxon made his largest lemonade stand donation. He donated a total of $1574.00. The lemonade stand was held on June 9. This year the fundraiser featured a dunk tank, and a silent auction. Thanks to Mayor Brandon Burley, Jamie Giesbrecht, a teacher, and children who took a turn at the dunk tank.
For the last six years Jaxon and family have organized this special event.
Jaxon wanted to give back, after his cousin Brooklyn received an IPAD from Katie Cares a few years ago. Each year we give Jaxon an opportunity to choose what he would like his money to be spent on. When we met with Jaxon to accept the donation no decision was made as to what we should spend the money on.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the fundraiser!! A big thank you to Jaxon, Jeanette and Jeff for all of your hard work to make this event such a success. Many thanks to everyone who attended, and made donations.
Katie Cares appreciates the donations, and works extremely hard to use the money wisely and with integrity.
