As a result of COVID, donations have really become so important over the last few years. These donations are what help Katie Cares to provide services and programs.

On December 8, 2022 two representatives from BSI Insurance stopped in at Katie’s Cottage. The BSI representatives were given a tour of the cottage and they shared their donations with us. The donations included paper towels, toothpaste, dish soap, deodorant sticks, shaving cream, shaving blades, feminine products, ruffle sponge, socks, small size travel shampoo and conditioner, chocolate bars, assorted size Ziploc bags, toques, and a cheque for $1200.00. These donations were a result of the annual Christmas party where employees could donate, and BSI would match the total donation up to $1,000.

Thanks to Brittney and Florian for visiting the cottage and bringing these awesome gifts. We will be sure to use all the donations to benefit the guests who stay at the cottage. Many thanks to every employee who donated, we appreciate your kindness. A special thanks to BSI for your contribution, these contributions will go a long way in helping families who stay at Katie Cares.
