September is childhood cancer awareness month.  Over the next month, we will share with stats from the Canadian Cancer Society.  Katie Cares was started by Kaitlyn Reimer.  Kaitlyn was diagnosed with cancer in October 2010.  Kaitlyn was intelligent, funny, athletic, beautiful, charming, witty.  Cancer was the furthest thing from our minds, when she became sick.  After she was diagnosed, she decided to start her own charity. Kaitlyn wanted to give back, to support children going through illness. We want to bring awareness to childhood cancer.  It is real, for many families.
