Caleb and Marli along with their parents came to visit Katie’s Cottage. Their DVBS program at the Bllumenort Church in Rosetown recently collected Beanie Babies, and the two were a part of the fundraising efforts. They where quite interested in visiting and seeing for themselves Katie’s Cottage. A tour was arranged, and they got to see first hand what the Cottage looks like from the inside. The children, brought 4 Beanie Babies that they wanted to donate. They have been reading Love Like Katie, and saw many familiar things from the book to Katie’s Cottage. If you would like to tour Katie Cottage we will be hosting an open house August 13 at 11:00 am to 7:30 pm to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. The book sells for $16.00 and the money from the sale of the books goes to support Katie Cares.
