Pictured: Beanie Babies

The Beanie Baby program was started by the late Kaitlyn Reimer. She wanted to make sure that children felt supported while they received their immunizations. Public Health offices at Boundary Trails Hospital, Agassiz Medical Centre, and Carman Public Health office all give out the beanie babies. We are hoping to be in the Altona public health office in the near future. This program has grown since inception in 2011 by Kailyn Reimer herself. The beanie babies are given to any child who is having difficulty with immunization, and also focusing on the children who are receiving immunizations for kindergarten. Money is raised through fundraising events throughout the year. Thank you to the public health offices for your willingness to be a part of Katie Cares

Many thanks go to those who support the efforts of the charity. We could not do this work without the tremendous support that has been given.
