For the past 8 years in September the JR Walkof students and staff walk in memory of Kaitlyn Reimer. The walk a thon creates awareness and raises money for the charity. This year due to Covid Ruth Reimer did not go to the school to make a presentation. But the walk a thon was held on September 25, 2020 with 315 students participating in the event. This year the fundraiser raised $368.80!!  A huge thank you to the students, staff, organizers, and parents for your tremendous support. The money will be used to purchase Beanie Babies for children receiving care in 4 hospitals, and 4 public health clinics in the Pembina Valley region.
