Students from the Global Issues class at Morden Collegiate will be hosting several fundraisers over the next few weeks.
All the money raised will go in support of Katie’s Cottage. Katie’s Cottage is a home away from home. A place to stay close to the hospital. Anyone who has a loved one registered at Boundary Trails Hospital can use the cottage. You may have a doctors appointments, chemo therapy, dialysis, diagnostic, rehab, medical, surgical, obstetrics, same day surgery, emergency. Anyone of these departments, QUALIFIES YOU TO STAY AT KATIE’S COTTAGE. Money raised for Katie’s Cottage stays in the community giving to those who need to be near the hospital. You are invited to come and support the fundraisers at the Morden Collegiate.
May 15th – hot dog sale (12:35-1:30) Morden Collegiate
May 17th – 50/50 raffle Morden Collegiate during school day with the final draw at the end of the day.
May 25th – Taco-in-a-bag sale(12:35-1:30) Morden Collegiate.
Kopper Kettle – tips being halved by many waitresses there until the evening of the 24th.
A flower sale at the CO-OP will also be happening – the date is yet to be determined.
