The staff and volunteers are encouraged to visit and get to know our guests at Katie’s Cottage. Making the guests feel at home, comfortable is of utmost importance. While visiting the Schmidts found out Teresa played the mandolin, they mentioned they’d like to hear her play. So after getting settled in their room.  They enjoyed coffee and baking and a chance to sit in the sunshine.  Teresa pulled out her Mandolin and they sang some hymns together.
