Katie’s Cottage takes great pride in supporting our local business. During Covid, it became even more apparent that we needed to source out more local items for the cottage. Guests enjoy a variety of snacks. Sunny Day is one of the businesses where Katie’s Cottage is purchasing snacks for guests. Sunny Day has a trail mix that guests have really enjoyed. The trail mix consists of cashews, pistachios, almonds, chocolate covered peanuts and pecans. The nuts are roasted at Sunny Day, guests have enjoyed the freshness and the superb quality. The staff at Katie’s Cottage put a 1/3 cup of trail mix into Ziploc bags. The bags are then put into Tupperware containers and put into the freezer. This allows the trail mix to stay fresh. Thank you to Sunny Day for making this awesome trail mix.
