Altona Peewee girl’s hockey team held a teddy bear toss, just prior to Christmas 2019. 118 teddy bears where donated to several different places. The team donated to senior homes, a family who lost a loved one and Katie Cares. The girl’s hockey team has entered The Good Deeds Cup. 32 Beanie Babies where donated to Katie Cares. These friendly, furry, cuddly friends lessen the fears and anxiety for children. Thank you to everyone who supported the teddy bear toss. Many thanks to the girls for thinking of Katie Cares, appreciate your thoughtfulness. Best of luck to the team as you head into playoffs, and your bid to capture The Good Deeds Cup!
