Love Like Katie was written by Marilyn Hart of Winkler, illustrated by Ruth Hiebert also from Winkler. The book is beautifully written and illustrated by two incredibly talented ladies. The book was printed by Friesens in Altona. Randy, Ruth, and John have decided to give students in grade 3 around southern Manitoba a book. 

This year we want to celebrate and in recognition of Kaitlyn Reimer’s (founder of Katie Cares) birthday in a special way. We want to recognize the spirit and love Kaitlyn had for children. Kaitlyn loved nothing more than to give back and to share her love for her community, and love for reading.

Kaitlyn’s birthday is coming up on March 12^th, and she would be turning 24 this year. Her charity has grown tremendously, and we are excited to be sharing this special book with students.
