This summer the gazebo has been used more than ever before. The gazebo was a place for hospital staff to relax and enjoy a quiet lunch. A place for the hospital chaplain to rejuvenate and reenergize. Guests at Katie’s Cottage also found the gazebo a place to relax, eat, visit and enjoy nature at it’s finest. Guests could see the deer wandering across the yard as they headed to greener pastures. Guests also watched as the surrounding fields were being seeded, and then in fall watched as the combine made the rounds harvesting the wheat.

This week the staff cleaned up the yard furniture and closed the gazebo for the season. We look forward to next spring and reopening this special place for all to enjoy! Thanks to everyone who stopped in to enjoy the gazebo.
