Katie Cares is always thrilled to receive donations. It is heartwarming when a child gives a gift from the heart. Katie Cares received a donation of $15.00 in the mail, along with the donation was a handwritten note and picture. It was a beautiful reminder of the love that children have for Katie Cares. Children want to give, and they give from their hearts. Chloe organized 3 lemonade stands this past summer. She told her mom all she wanted to do was buy a pack of gum, and the rest of the money she wanted to donate to Katie Cares for the sick children! Thank you, Chloe, for your generous gift. The money you donated will be spent to purchase more Beanie Babies. The Beanie Babies are an important part of the charity. This year the charity has given over 1200 Beanie Babies to children in Southern Health.
