From the moment Kaitlyn became sick and was diagnosed with cancer the community from across southern Manitoba reached out to our family.
Kaitlyn felt this support in many ways, and she wanted to give back to her community that she loved.

This year the 10th annual fashion show raised more funds for her charity than ever before. We are grateful for your belief in a 13-year-old child’s dream. With the support of Manitobans, we were able to build and provide a place for those who have a loved one in hospital. Donations and funds raised are used to further the charity, programs, Katie’s Cottage, and the Beanie baby program which Kaitlyn herself started. Donors you have entrusted the funds to Katie Cares, and we pledge to do our best to use the funds with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
