Katie Cares puts together bags for children who are admitted into hospital. These bags are filled with items to distract children. Kaitlyn started this program. She felt it was important to provide a child with items that showed love, care, and compassion. Each bag is careful put together, thinking of the child who is in hospital. One of the items in the bags is coloring books. Katie Cares has chosen books that have wonderful pictures to color. The best place to purchase the coloring books are at Village Toy Shop, south of Winkler on 14th St 1 mile south, ½ mile west on the south side. You will find a little store. The store is filled with the most wonderful toys, games, puzzles. If you haven’t visited this store, please take time to stop in and find this hidden jewel.
