On May 17, 2019 Katie Cares accepted a cheque for $200.00 from the Northlands Parkway Youth in Philanthropy group, better known as YIP. This group worked extremely hard during the school year to raise money. The money raised went to several groups, providing extra funds for items needed by the organizations. Katie Cares will use their funds to purchase lawn chairs, which are needed at the Cottage. Along with the special presentation of cheques, the group provided a wonderful lunch to all the recipients! Thank you to the YIP group along with teachers who provided guidance throughout the year. Many thanks to students, staff who supported the efforts of the YIP group.
