Garden Valley Collegiate (GVC) is the recipient of a $1000.00 in honour of Kaitlyn Reimer. Kaitlyn was a student of GVC and this school year 2014/2015 would have been Kaitlyn’s graduating year. Kaitlyn was proud to be a student at GVC. Katie Cares Board decided to give a bursary in honour of Kaitlyn. The money comes from Winkler Community Foundation/Katie Cares endowment fund interest which has been generated over the last year. A criteria has been submitted to the scholarship committee for any student who may be interested in applying. Thank you to Carrie Friesen and Scott Jantzen for accepting the cheque.
