Maiya is a grade 12 student at Morden Collegiate. Maiya is volunteering at Katie Cottage to get her 30 hours for a credit. This young lady plays for the female AAA Hawks as a center. Maiya has committed to playing with the Minot Beavers State Hockey team! She will be playing on a division 1 team!

Maiya received an academic scholarship, with plans on graduating with her bachelor of nursing.
