Katie Cares is thrilled to officially announce that a one acre piece of land has been acquired directly east of Boundary Trails Hospital. The land is the first step in completing an important health project for the patients and families visiting Boundary Trails. Katie Cares plans to build a respite center guest home. This home could be used by anyone who is looking to leave the hospital but still be near to their loved one. The home would provide a place to relax, rejuvenate. The home will provide bedrooms for those who may need to stay close, and need to get rest. The priority will always be children but there will be opportunity for others to use the bedrooms as well. Thank you to Monique Rampton and Pat Temmerman of Morden Nurseries and the Temmerman family for their support and encouragement in this endeavour. For those who want to support Katie Cares we will be selling raffle tickets prizes as follows:

1st prize: 25000 air miles donated by Canadian Lumber,
