Katie Cares gives Katie Cares bags to 4 hospitals, these include Boundary Trails, Carman, Portage, Altona hospitals.  The program started in 2011 by Kaitlyn herself.  She wanted to give back to children, to let children know that they were loved.  When Kaitlyn herself was in hospital she realized that many children don’t have a support network. Each bag is carefully packed, making sure that all the contents are new.  Each Teddy Bear, and Beanie Baby are new as well.

Katie Cares follows strict guidelines given by the Southern Health Sante Sud Infection Control regulations. These guidelines are for the protection of patients, and children who have compromised immune systems.  Katie Cares does not want to see any child getting sick, because of recycled materials.

All of our Teddy Bears/Beanie Babies are tagged with a Katie Cares sticker.
