Katie Cares received a large donation on December 22, 2017. The Parkland School leadership group, set out to collect donations for Katie Care bags.  They brought the donations to Katie’s Cottage.  The group made 39 Katie Cares Bags!! The bags are given to children who are admitted into hospital. The bags are designed to give a distraction, and provide a good memory of their stay at the hospital. Thank you to the Parkland Staff and student body for your donation.  To the leadership group, thank you for organizing this fundraiser and making the bags. SEE IT…BELIEVE IT…ACHIEVE IT….

Parkland German students also had a fundraiser in support of Katie Cares.  The grade 7/8 students held a Weihnachtsmarkt (German Christmas Market). The market was a bake sale, featuring yummy baking.  The students raised $359.00, and the money was donated to Katie Cares.  Thank you to the Parkland students and staff, for your efforts in supporting Katie Cares!!
