Whether you live 5 minutes from the hospital, or further away, everyone is welcome. We provide a home away from home. The cottage gives patients and their families the comfort of knowing that they are close to the hospital.  Situations that may come up are, obstetrics, or a loved one in emergency, surgery, cancer treatment, dialysis.  If you are unsure if you qualify, please call Katie’s Cottage 204-312-8445.  Our friendly qualified, staff will answer all of your questions. The cottage has 8 suites featuring,2 double beds, small fridge, satellite tv, bathroom with shower. All thebedding, towels, and toiletries are provided.   We provide a continental breakfast, which features fresh homemade bread, cereal, yogurt, fruit, on occasion we will serve a hot breakfast. Fresh coffee and muffins are available throughout the day. Katie’s Cottage is also available to anyone who needs to get away from the hospital during the day, you do not need to be a registered guest to enjoy the comforts.
