On August 23, 2020 Mr. Mikes hosted a BBQ on their parking lot. The BBQ was a fundraiser in support of Katie’s Cottage. They served a delicious hamburger, lodge chips and a drink. The BBQ raised $1265.00! Katie Cares is extremely grateful for the fundraiser. This was the first major fundraiser of the year for the charity. Reina, manager of the restaurant, along with her grand daughters, came to the cottage on August 27 and presented Ruth Reimer with a cheque!

A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the charity. Many thanks to Mr. Mikes manager Reina and staff for organizing the event. Also, a big thank you to Mr. Mikes shareholders for your contribution to making the event a success!!
