On May 31, 2018 Youth in Philanthropy group (YIP) from WC Miller Collegiate, in Altona presented Katie Cares with a cheque for $600.00.
In May of 2012 Kaitlyn Reimer founder of Katie Cares requested that an endowment fund be established.
At Katie’s Cottage we believe that our volunteers are special.
On June 19, 2018 the Ecole Morden Middle School students, staff, along with Lynda McClean Morden Area Foundation Director visited Katie’s Cottage.
On June 7, 2018 the Heir Loom quilters group from Altona came to Katie’s Cottage.
Morden Collegiate students from Mr. Ross St. Jean’s Global Issues class, held a variety of fundraisers all in support of Katie Cares.
On February 19 2018 the Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Association of Manitoba hosted a Beanie Baby toss.
Katie Cares fashion show committee has been hard at work planning for the 7 Annual fashion show.
Starting May 22 to 31 Charley B’s will be donating $1.00 from every combo sold.
Each month Boston Pizza surprises guests at Katie’s Cottage with pizza supper.
